A Little Story !

cid:image001.gif@01C955F9.49E0B290

A water bearer in China had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots
Had a crack in it, while the other pot was perfect and always
Delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the House, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his house.
Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments,
Perfect for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was
Ashamed of its own imperfection. And miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you. I have been able to
Deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes
Water to leak out all the way back to your house. Because of my
Flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said
.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw. So I Planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.
Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house?

Moral: Each of us has our own unique flaws. We're all cracked pots. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are, and look for the good in them. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.
Remember to appreciate all the different people in your life.

Driving towards Destination !

I Just want to share some moments which i had at office.. I Think its evening at 18:30 Today, "Hey Shankar! Well-Done, Splendid Job" --- My Project Manager appreciated me for kind of efforts. Though i bagged lot of appreciations earlier for various projects, This makes me more sense. After All trails and Errors mechanisms fixed some issues with help of one of Other project Friend(Thanks Shasheetha). At last we got some result. I am happy that My efforts are utilized, Because i committed few weekends to stretch on it and I have canceled my Today's Traveling to Hyderabad to attend my Brother's son First Birthday celebrations! My Efforts were calculated. I feel Result may fail efforts will never fail ;)

Since two months literally fighting in my office with source code and settings [Web logic 8.1 on Linux, Oracle 9i,Crystal Reports XI, Struts/Hibernate in J2EE]and environment setup locally for my project. Putting lot of efforts to get setup perfect in order to accept the challenging huge enhancement is coming up. Everything is new to Me.

Today i got some positive result as i able to setup environment and deploy my applications on production servers. Partially achieved something, However still some configurations need to be done at locally to achieve final outcome. Soon i need to fix those and get ready for BATTLE.

Thanks
Shankar

Love & Marraige..!!

I got this as a forwarded mail - Nice one.

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?"

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.

But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one... But may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he start to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "...this is love... You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realise, you have already miss the person...."

"What is marriage then?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... You look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... This is marriage.
