How Long It Goes ??? - My First Blog in This Year
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Year brings with it new hopes and new opportunities for us to explore. Our aspirations connects to software solutions that help our companies more effectively meet their mission of positive global change. But IT sector poised for slowest growth, the New year will propel transformation in growth.
As per Study, The domestic Indian IT/ITeS market is expected to grow at just 13.4 per cent in 2009 — the slowest since 2003. But the forecast for the year suggests that important “structural changes, taking place on the back of a global economic meltdown, will propel a new ‘market order’ in the domestic Indian IT/ITeS industry.”
I can say that The 2008 crash is probably the most serious economic crisis we have faced after the Great Depression. Stock markets from around the world fell as much as 20% in a single week, dozens of banks either failed or were rescued by government and private institutions, and companies started laying off employees as a consequence of the reduced demand. We know how we entered into the crisis, but we don’t how, when, or how we will be getting out of it.
I can say 2009 shall herald the beginning of a new business cycle that will be marked by slow growth but would eventually be the basis of a new phase of growth. It is not only the end of another year, it is the end of a business cycle that began in 2003.
Some of the major product categories slated to grow at a higher rate than the average growth include desktop management , information systems outsourcing , network management and application management. Among IT solution categories, the faster growing would be virtualisation, unified communications, and business continuity services.
The economic slowdown is expected to accelerate this transformation, which would manifest itself in terms of “cost savings, productivity enhancement, and customer retention in the short run, giving way to new engagement and delivery models in the long run.” Noting that the outsourcing services market will move towards consolidation in favor of larger players in 2009, the forecast says: “Low-end volume services, because of increased competition, will find margins coming down and larger players will acquire their counterparts, while at the same time accelerating their movement towards business transformation services in 2009.”
In an analysis stated that, within the Most Admired Companies, the top 10 outperformed industry peers and the markets, giving average shareholder returns of 19.6 per cent, nearly three times the Standard and Poor’s average of 7.1 per cent, for the period 2004–2008.I can say always do your own research and only invest with competent financial advice.
As a New Year Dawns, What companies will lead us forward? where we will stand? what about our Living Life Style? Nearly Half of the Companies Freezing or Decreasing Staffing Levels, Already few companies announced Base Salary Increases Getting Cut, Few Companies have started the HR Programs Hitting the Chopping Block, Companies Worry most about Top Talent Professionals, these all leads to a Worry about Job Security at most for a Silicon.
As we all know that markets have slumped, sales are not picking up, suddenly cash is evaporated from the market, We have to keep our JOB and balance the Personal, Professional and financial commitments and feel Secure. In order to continue we do not resist a transfer, travel, salary cut, extra-work load, extra time at office if needed.....!
I strongly believe what goes down will always go up, Markets will rebound ....! We will have lot of Opportunities to work. Hoping for Best.....!!!
