Here comes our 60th Republic dayThere are many discussions going on Google and surroundings regarding years of celebration whether it is 60th year or 59th year of republic india. Although India obtained its independence on August 15, 1947, the Constitution of India came into effect only on January 26, 1950.So we had completed 59 years and now we are entering into 60th year .So its time to celebrate 60 years of Republic India.
With 395 Articles and eight Schedules, the Indian Constitution is the largest written constitution in the world.

When the nation celebrates the 60th Republic Day on Monday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be recuperating from a bypass surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
